Dr. Clifton J. Clendenan Biography
Dr. Clif Clendenan grew up in Lapeer County and graduated from North Branch High School in 1970. Following his pre-chiropractic studies at Ferris State University, he received his Doctorate of Chiropractic Degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. In 1976, Dr. Clendenan opened his office in Imlay City. In 1980, the building at 279 W. Capac Rd. was built and Dr. Clendenan has been in practice there since January 1, 1981.
In 1992, Dr. Steven Smith practiced with Dr. Clendenan for a year before moving to North Carolina and opening his own practice. In 1998, Dr. Michael McClelland practiced with Dr. Clendenan until he took over a practice in Marlette two years later. In 2003, Dr. Andy Hummel came to Imlay City to do an internship. He was here for six months before returning to Denver to establish his practice.
Dr. Clendenan has two daughters, one son, and one son-in-law. On December 16, 2007, a grandson was added to the family, with another being added on August 16, 2009....pictures are always available.
Dr. Clendenan enjoys his involvement with the Imlay City Rotary Club, Calvary Bible Church, family activities, and participation in just about any sport.
